The fact that both Rachel and Emma had dialogue explicitly identifying their thoughts about their own sexual behavior as motivated by the need/desire to gratify their partner, after being shown losing their virginity as 1) a consolation and 2) a reward for external events in the lives of their partners, says so fucking much about this show.
